KJUS

High quality performance clothing

Alpine ski champion Lasse Kjus didn't set out to change the ski apparel industry. He simply felt that functionality and performance were more important than fashion for a full day on the mountain facing the elements. As it turns out, his desire for functional apparel not only filled a gap, it created a brand. The Kjus brand launched in 2000 with a small ski collection, targeting premium ski stores around the world. This strategy proved to be succesfull, becuase the selected stores all focused on a high level of customer service, capable of explaining the technical benefits of the Kjus products for the avid skier. The following years, Kjus expanded, bringing on investors and innovated on the product lines, which formed the Kjus brand as we know it today. In Summer 2019, KJUS was acquired by Acushnet Company, owner of a variety high-end golf brands, and is now led from the North American headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, and the satellite offices in Risch-Rotkreuz, Switzerland. KJUS is engineered for people with active lifestyles, and the brand craft innovative and premium sportswear that strengthens the performance of passionate athletes.

LEKI

Poles and gloves for everyone

Karl Lenhart started LEKI in 1970. Having experience in aircraft construction, he knew how to process aluminum and composites. He used these raw materials to manufacture his first ski poles and launched them on the market in 1970 under the name LEKI, which stands for the owner and the company headquarters - Lenhart in Kirchheim. Based on the succes of the regular LEKI alpine poles, Lenhart expanded LEKI's product range 3 years after, to also feature cross-country poles. More succes followed and in 1997 LEKI built its new headquarter, and a year after, the Trigger System revolutionized the market, while also introducing the first line of LEKI Gloves. Since then the company has grown and is today a global company operating across the world selling poles, gloves and accesories for skiers. The brands six core values, enthusiasm, innovation, quality, partnership, excellence and responsibility is part of the LEKI DNA,  which ensures high quality products focusing on a combination of safety and comfort with an appealing design.

YETI

Build for the Wild

In 2006, YETI Coolers was founded by Roy and Ryan Seiders with a simple mission: build the cooler you’d use every day if it existed. The avid outdoorsmen became frustrated with the quality of the coolers available and founded YETI in response. With a great focus on product innovation and firsthand experience, the two began their mission of outlining, building and producing the best cooler in the world.  One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast rather than for the mass-discount retailers. One that could take the abuse they knew it would be going through out in the field and on the water. One that simply wouldn’t break. Today, YETI products perform when it matters most - whether that be an excursion into the remote Alaskan wilderness, chasing redfish on the Gulf coast, or just getting together with friends in the backyard. The original YETI cooler turned out to be a great succes in niche market segments of high-end hunting and fisching enthuasiasts, outdoorsmen, beach goers and water enthusiasts, and the brand has continued its great focus on product innovation since the. This is clear looking at the wide range of YETI products available today, ranging from varying styles in coolers, drinkware, bags, dogs bowls and beds, cargos, apparel and outdoor living accesories.
All of them have one thing in common. They're build for the wild.

SCHÖFFEL

200 years of outdoor clothing

The more than 200 years of company history of Schöffel consists of episodes and events, strokes of luck and blows of fate. Already shortly after founding the small company Georg Schöffel’s son Josef must go to war. During the fighting the young man from Schwabmünchen saves the life of Bavarian crown prince Ludwig. The consequence: as lifetime annuity for Josef, which he invests into his mobile trade with stockings and opens a lot of opportunities. After the second world war a new page of the familiy saga is turned. Ludwig Schöffel, the designated company heir had died in Russia, therefore the younger brother Hubert takes his place and realized an ambitious plan: He has a new and modern clothing shop built. Today the brand is over 200 years old but still young and full of ideas: Traditional and modern are no contradiction for Schöffel - they are root to success. To be open for the new, setting the trends instead of following the others, acting responsibly and sustainably, acting internationally but still nurturing the native basis in Bavarian Schwabmünchen – Schöffel goes its own way.
